Mono 100", the highest quality pencil, was released in 1967 to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the founding of Tombo Pencil. The fineness of the core particles was increased to "10 billion per millimeter cubic" and named "Mono 100".

Even today, it remains the finest pencil in Tombo's pencil lineup.
