SANKEI - Miniatuart Kit Kobito's Tokonoma Model

Born from a collaboration between the miniature model maker studio MOZU and Sankei, the MINIATUART KITS KOBITO series brings MOZU's art pieces to a hand palm size model that you can assemble yourself! "Kobito"'s meaning is "small person" or "pygmy".

Paper model kit.

The miniature kit is made by laminating color hard paper that has been laser-cut to the smallest detail.
Easy to assemble by sticking and connecting parts together.
Since it is colored cardboard, you can complete an elaborate model without painting.
The completed model has a solid texture and strength that does not seem to be "paper"!

The kit represents the tokonoma from the Kobito's world with a Japanese electric outlet. The tokonoma is a recessed space in a Japanese-style reception room, in which items for artistic appreciation are displayed (an alcove).
